We bring craft and beauty to complex systems.
Studio Loutsis (listen) is a Brooklyn-based design practice partnering globally with brands, institutions, architects and artists to craft creative solutions in dialogue with contemporary culture.
While our scope is broad — spanning strategy, brand design, art direction and production across print, digital, and environments — we’re grounded in a core belief: creativity thrives on the balance of imagination and discipline. We avidly experiment with new concepts and approaches that challenge and intrigue, while designing systems that carry daring ideas into the world with clarity, scale, and staying power.

Our practice is shaped by three fundamental principles that guide how we think, collaborate, and create.

Taylor Loutsis is the creative director and founder of Studio Loutsis, and the art director of AN Interior print magazine. With over a decade of experience at the intersection of branding, image-making, and the built environment, he brings together extraordinary creative talent and leads interdisciplinary teams that reimagine how stories, visuals, and spaces come to life.
His work with leading studios including 2x4 and Pentagram, combined with global experience spanning New York, San Francisco, Singapore, and Germany, gives him a broad perspective on design’s role in shaping human experience. Taylor has partnered with clients such as Apple, Arc’teryx, REX, Prada, Samsung, Guggenheim, and Snøhetta, always striving to create work with clarity and impact. He has also led initiatives with the Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD) while co-Chair of NY Chapter, advancing how signage, exhibition, and environmental design engage public life.
In 2026, Taylor serves on the SEGD Board of Directors and was selected as part of the Van Alen Institute’s Young Vanguards cohort, an interdisciplinary group of emerging leaders reshaping the future of design, research, and civic engagement.
Taylor holds a BSD in Graphic Design from the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, teaches at Parsons, and serves as a visiting critic at SVA, Parsons, Pratt, and Rutgers.
