Black Asteroid, the project of musician and DJ Bryan Black, is known for a sound that merges industrial techno with cinematic atmosphere. Infinite Darkness marked a new creative chapter, expanding his sonic language into more sculptural and immersive terrain. The album’s visual identity needed to communicate this evolution and reflect the same tension, energy, and shadow that define his work.

Studio Loutsis began the collaboration by researching the artist’s past releases, live performance aesthetics, and creative projects across fashion and music. A series of creative sessions with Black Asteroid helped clarify the emotional landscape of the album, the conceptual reasoning behind the title, and the intended experience for listeners. 

A defining quality of Black Asteroid’s sound is its ability to build atmosphere through layers. The tracks reveal textures, hidden rhythms, and tonal shifts gradually, encouraging listeners to uncover more with each pass. Studio Loutsis translated this layered methodology directly into the visual system in partnership with Berlin-based artist [NAME TK]. The central cover composition uses darkness as both material and metaphor, allowing details, gradients, and forms to emerge only upon deeper viewing. This creates a visual experience that mirrors how the album unfolds across time.

This layered approach carried through the content strategy for the promotional rollout. Digital assets were designed with a dual structure. At first glance, the visuals feel stark and reductive, capturing the immediate intensity of Infinite Darkness. As audiences engage further, deeper imagery, motion fragments, and expanded typographic elements surface. The final identity system included the album cover, streaming platform artwork, social media assets, and motion-driven materials for live performances and digital releases. Across all formats, the design expresses a practice centered on atmosphere, restraint, and tension, offering listeners and viewers a visual experience that reflects the conceptual core of Black Asteroid’s sound.
